Livia Brito Pestana (born July 21, 1986) is a Cuban-Mexican actress and model. She is famous for her leading roles in Spanish-language TV shows called telenovelas. Many people know her for playing Fernanda Linares in the popular drama series La desalmada.

Early Life and Family
Livia Brito was born in Ciego de Ávila Province, Cuba. Her parents were both artists. Her father, Rolando Brito Rodríguez, was an actor, and her mother, Gertrudis Pestana, was a ballet dancer.
When Livia was about 13 years old, her family moved to Mexico City, Mexico. A year later, her dad opened a Cuban restaurant. To help her family and pay for her studies in Business Administration, Livia worked as a waitress.
Before becoming an actress, Livia was also a model. In 2009, she competed in a beauty pageant called Reina Mundial del Banano. She represented Mexico and won first runner-up and an award for being the most photogenic. After this, she decided to study acting at Televisa's famous acting school, the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA).
Acting Career
First Roles on TV
In 2010, Livia started her acting career in the telenovela Triunfo del amor (Triumph of Love). She played Fernanda Sandoval and acted alongside famous stars like William Levy and Maite Perroni. This role helped her become well-known.
Two years later, she appeared in another telenovela called Abismo de pasión (Abyss of Passion). In this show, she played Paloma González.
Becoming a Leading Lady
Livia's first main role was in the 2013 show De que te quiero, te quiero (I Love You, I Love You). She starred with actor Juan Diego Covarrubias.
In 2014, she starred in Muchacha italiana viene a casarse (Italian Girl Comes to Marry). For this show, she traveled to Italy to film some scenes.
She also played a role in the 2016 miniseries Por siempre Joan Sebastian, which was about the life of a famous singer. From 2017 to 2018, she was the main character, Yolanda Cadena, in the action series La Piloto (The Pilot).
Major Success
In 2021, Livia played Fernanda Linares in the hit telenovela La desalmada (The Soulless One). This became one of her most famous roles and was very popular with audiences.
She has continued to star in popular shows, including Mujer de nadie (A Woman of Her Own) in 2022 and Minas de pasión (Mines of Passion) in 2023.
