According to the 2010 census, Long Point has a total area of 0.19 square miles (0.49 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 498 people, 218 households, and 199 families residing in the village. The population density was 2621.1 people per square mile (1007.6/km²). There were 218 housing units at an average density of 1147.4 per square mile (441/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.59% White, 0.80% Native American, 0.20% Asian, and 0.40% from two or more races.
There were 92 households out of which 40.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.0% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.7% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.04.
In the village, the population was spread out with 30.8% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 25.1% from 25 to 44, 23.9% from 45 to 64, and 14.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
