Lori McCreary is an American film producer. She is the CEO of the production company Revelations Entertainment. She started this company with actor Morgan Freeman.

Early Life and Education
Lori McCreary grew up in Antioch, California. She finished Antioch High School in 1979.
She then went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 1984, she earned a degree in Computer Science. While she was still in college, she helped start a company called CompuLaw. This company made software for legal work.
Her Career in Movies and TV
Lori McCreary became interested in making movies after seeing a play called Bopha!. She wanted to turn it into a film.
In 1992, she met actor Morgan Freeman at Paramount Pictures. He was going to direct the movie version of Bopha!.
Starting Revelations Entertainment
Lori McCreary and Morgan Freeman decided to work together. In 1996, they created their own company, Revelations Entertainment. Their goal was to make movies and TV shows that "reveal the truth."
As the CEO of Revelations, Lori McCreary has produced many projects. She produced The Magic of Belle Isle, which was directed by Rob Reiner. Before that, she produced Invictus. This movie was directed by Clint Eastwood. Morgan Freeman starred in it as Nelson Mandela, and Matt Damon also acted in the film.
TV Shows and Other Projects
Lori McCreary is also an Executive Producer for the TV series Madam Secretary on CBS. This show stars Téa Leoni.
She also produced The Story of God with Morgan Freeman for NatGeo. This show became very popular. She also produced its follow-up series, The Story of Us with Morgan Freeman. Another show she produced was Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman for Discovery Science.
Her other movie credits include Thick as Thieves with Antonio Banderas. She also produced The Maiden Heist, which starred Christopher Walken, William H. Macy, Marcia Gay Harden, and Morgan Freeman. Revelations Entertainment also helped produce Along Came a Spider.
Digital Entertainment and Innovation
In 2005, Revelations Entertainment worked with Intel to create a new digital company called ClickStar. ClickStar launched its website in December 2006. It was one of the first websites where people could legally download a movie while it was still playing in theaters. The first movie available was Revelations' own 10 Items or Less.
Leadership in the Film Industry
Lori McCreary is a leader in the film industry. She is on the Board of the Producers Guild of America (PGA). She was elected to this position in June 2014 and still serves there. She also started the PGA's Motion Picture Technology Committee. She is a member of other important groups that focus on technology in movies and TV. The Hollywood Reporter magazine once featured her as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Hollywood.
