Lorraine Pilkington is an Irish actress. She was born in Dublin on April 18, 1974. Lorraine is well-known for playing Katrina Finlay in the TV show Monarch of the Glen. She also played Lulu in the movie Human Traffic.

Early Life and Training
Lorraine Pilkington grew up in a nice village called Malahide in Dublin. She was one of four children in her family. She went to Manor House School until she was 14 years old. After that, she trained to be an actress at the Gaiety School of Acting. This school helps people learn how to act for plays and movies.
Acting Career
Lorraine started acting when she was just 15 years old. Her first role was in a movie called The Miracle in 1991. This film was directed by Neil Jordan. She also performed in stage plays like The Plough and the Stars and The Iceman Cometh.
When she was 18, Lorraine moved to London to continue her acting career. She worked on many projects, including doing voiceovers for different shows. In the late 1990s, she moved back to London to focus more on her acting.

In late 2001, Lorraine Pilkington married Simon Massey in Wicklow, Ireland. They first met in 1999 while working on the TV show Ballykissangel. Simon Massey later became a director for Monarch of the Glen. Lorraine and Simon have three sons together. Simon also has two step-children from a previous marriage.
