Lawrencine May "Lorrie" Collins (May 7, 1942 – August 4, 2018) was a talented American singer. She sang country, rockabilly, and rock and roll music. From the mid-1950s, she performed with her brother, Larry Collins. They were known as The Collins Kids.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
Lorrie Collins was born in Creek County, Oklahoma. She grew up near Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Both Lorrie and her brother Larry were very musical as young children. Their parents moved the family to Southern California. This helped the children develop their musical talents. Soon, Lorrie and Larry started performing together as a musical duo.

TV Appearances and Music
In the late 1950s, Lorrie Collins appeared on television. She was often seen on The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. This was a very popular show starring the Nelson family. Lorrie played a character who was a friend of teen idol Ricky Nelson.
She first appeared on the show in January 1958. In this episode, she played two different characters. She even performed a song called "Just Because" with Ricky Nelson. This song was one of The Collins Kids' most famous tunes. A month later, her brother Larry also appeared on the show.
Continuing to Perform
In 1959, Lorrie Collins married Stu Carnall. He was the manager for famous singer Johnny Cash. Lorrie continued her acting and singing career. She kept performing with Ricky Nelson on TV. She also recorded music and toured with her brother.
The Collins duo kept performing into the 1960s. They were regular guests on the Canadian music show Star Route in 1963. Later, they also appeared on The Jackie Gleason Show and The Hollywood Palace. Many of their performances were released on DVDs and CDs.
