Los Indios is a small town in Cameron County, Texas. It is located right on the border of the United States and Mexico. In 2020, about 1,000 people lived there.
A special bridge, called the Free Trade International Bridge, connects Los Indios to Matamoros, a city in Mexico. This bridge helps people and goods move between the two countries.

History of Los Indios
Los Indios probably got its name from an old Spanish ranch. The town started around 1913. This was when a railway, the San Benito and Rio Grande Valley Railway, was built through the area. The railway helped the town grow and connect with other places.

Los Indios is located in southern Texas. It is very close to the Rio Grande river, which forms the border with Mexico. The town covers a total area of about 4.88 square kilometers (or 1.88 square miles). Almost all of this area is land.
