Rance Love Oliver II (known as LoveRance) is an American rapper, record producer, and DJ from San Francisco, California. He was born on September 6, 1989. He is most famous for his song "Up!" which came out in 2011. This song became very popular and reached the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.

Before his song "Up!" became a hit, LoveRance joined a hip-hop group called HBK Gang. The leader of this group, Iamsu!, also produced "Up!". After the song's big success, LoveRance signed a deal with Interscope Records.

LoveRance's Music Journey

The song "Up!" was first released on its own in May 2011. It quickly became popular online and in nightclubs. By May 2012, the song reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also hit number three on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number two on the Hot Rap Songs chart.

LoveRance was part of the The HBK Gang group from the Bay Area. "Up!" helped this group become well-known in mainstream music. It opened doors for other members of the group to get noticed too. The original version of the song featured the group's leader, Iamsu!, and another member, Skipper.

As "Up!" started getting played more on the radio, LoveRance signed with Interscope Records in late 2011. For the official single release of "Up!", the guest artists Iamsu! and Skipper were replaced by the famous rapper 50 Cent. The music video for "Up!" was uploaded to his Vevo account on January 31, 2012. The video shows scenes from the Bay Area, with much of it filmed inside a nightclub.

LoveRance released his first mixtape, Freak of the Industry, in December 2012. This mixtape included guest appearances from artists like Tyga, Problem, and Omarion. However, this release and his later music did not achieve the same level of success as "Up!".
