How the Waterfall Got Its Name
For a while, this waterfall didn't have a proper name. In 2002, it was just called "Waterfall West of Cliffview Park" on a poster about Hamilton's waterfalls. But two years later, in 2004, the Hamilton Conservation Authority officially named it Westcliffe Falls. This helped people easily identify and appreciate this natural wonder.
