Luis Guzmán (born August 28, 1956) is a talented actor from Puerto Rico. He has been acting for over 40 years, appearing in many movies and TV shows. You might know him from films like Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and Punch-Drunk Love. He also appeared in Out of Sight, The Limey, and Traffic.
On television, Luis Guzmán has played many memorable characters. He was Raoul Hernandez in the prison drama Oz. He also played José Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha in Narcos. More recently, he was Jesse "Mama" Salander in the medical drama Code Black. He also played Gomez Addams in the popular series Wednesday.

Early Life and Beginnings
Luis Guzmán was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico. He grew up in New York City, specifically in the Bronx area. He went to Seward Park High School. His mother worked at a hospital, and his stepfather repaired televisions.
After finishing college at American University, Luis Guzmán started his career helping people as a social worker. At the same time, he also began acting in local plays and independent films. This helped him get started in the acting world.
