Luis Raymund "L-Ray" Favis Villafuerte Jr. (born June 3, 1968) is a Filipino politician. He is currently the governor of Camarines Sur. He also served as governor from 2004 to 2013.
Before becoming governor again, he was a Representative for the 2nd district of Camarines Sur from 2016 to 2025. He also held the position of House Deputy Speaker from 2019 to 2020.
Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr. comes from a family involved in politics. His father, Luis Villafuerte Sr., was also a former governor. His sons, Miguel Luis Villafuerte and Luigi Villafuerte, have also served as governors of Camarines Sur.
Business Ventures
Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr. has been involved in several businesses. He and his wife, Lara, own a company called Lara's Gift and Décor, Inc. This company exports goods to different countries. It was once the only Philippine business that sold products directly to Target stores in the United States.
He was the President of Lara's Gift and Décor, Inc. from 1990 to 2004. He also led its U.S. branch during some of those years. He was also president of other companies like Bicol Broadcasting Systems, Inc. and Digitext Asia Corporation.
Today, he is the CEO of Republic Wakeparks Inc. He is also the President of Blank Boardsports Supply Company Inc. and a Vice-President at Breddas Inc. He is a Trustee for the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship.
Beyond business, he is the President of the Villafuerte Brotherhood Foundation, Inc. He also leads the Philippine Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation, Inc. He serves as Vice-President of the Asian Wakeboarding Association. He is also an executive board member of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Camarines Sur Council.

Serving in the House of Representatives
While serving in the House of Representatives, Villafuerte Jr. was a Deputy Speaker. This is an important role that helps lead the House.
During a leadership change in the House in 2020, Villafuerte Jr. supported the then-Speaker, Alan Peter Cayetano. When a new Speaker was chosen, Villafuerte Jr. was no longer a Deputy Speaker. He was replaced by Mikee Romero.
Villafuerte Jr. stated that he would continue to support the plans of President Rodrigo Duterte. He also mentioned that removing him from his Deputy Speaker role would not stop those who supported the former Speaker. He felt that the new leadership was not open to working together with his group.
