Luisa Fernanda is a talented person who has worked in many different areas of entertainment. She has been a television news anchor, a radio host, an actress in plays and TV shows, a singer, and a model. Luisa Fernanda was born on December 17, 1970, in Mexico City. She worked for HSE in 2001 and then for Telemundo until 2007. She also hosted two talk shows for Univision Radio and did special interviews for Terra.com. In 2012, she joined Azteca Networks in Mexico City, but soon after, she returned to the United States to work with Univision again.

Early Career and Music

Luisa Fernanda started her television career in 1987 in Mexico. Around the same time, she became a member of the music group Garibaldi. In this group, she sang alongside other famous members like Patty Manterola and Sergio Mayer.

Her striking looks quickly caught the attention of modeling agencies. Soon, she was recognized as one of the top fifty most beautiful women in Mexico. In 1994, she decided to leave the music group Garibaldi to explore other opportunities.

Acting and Television Work

From 1990 to 1998, Luisa Fernanda acted in many telenovelas, which are like long TV dramas, for Televisa. Some of these popular shows included Alcanzar una estrella and Agujetas de Color de Rosa. These telenovelas were very popular with teenagers in Latin America.

She also performed in a very successful comedy play in Mexico called Deceive me if you can, which ran for over five years. Throughout her career, she participated in several other plays and even helped as a director's assistant for some of them.

In 2000, Luisa Fernanda moved to the United States. There, she began working for the Spanish channel of the Home Shopping Network.

Hosting TV Shows

Less than a year after moving to the US, Telemundo and NBC hired her. She became a host for their morning show called De mañanita. Soon after, she was chosen to co-host the network's entertainment news show, Cotorreando, alongside Mauricio Zeilic.

Besides reporting on daily entertainment news, Luisa Fernanda also covered many live special events. These events took place in various locations, including Los Angeles, California, Mexico, New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico.

In September 2007, she signed a contract with Univision Network Group. She became a co-anchor for two radio talk shows on Univision Radio, named El Arañazo and El Colmillo. In the same year, the Spanish internet website Terra.com hired her as a celebrity correspondent.

As of February 2012, she returned to Mexico City to co-host Buenas Noches America. This was a nightly variety show on Azteca América, which is owned by TV Azteca. She also appeared several times as a guest co-host on TV Azteca's morning show Venga la Alegria. However, she soon decided to go back to the US. There, she joined Enrique Santos on the Enrique Santos Morning Show on Univision Radio. This show was broadcast across 11 cities and became a top morning show in both English and Spanish markets.

She left Univision Radio in 2017. For a short time, she worked at Radio Caracol in Miami, which is part of the Spanish media company PRISA.

Garibaldi Reunion

In February 2018, Luisa Fernanda began traveling to promote the reunion of her former music group, Garibaldi. This reunion was planned to celebrate the group's 30th anniversary. The celebration included a TV special with many star guests, a new music record, and a world tour.
