Luogosanto is a small town, also called a comune (municipality), located on the beautiful island of Sardinia in Italy. It is part of the Province of Sassari. The town's name means "Holy Place" in Italian.
Luogosanto is about 200 kilometers (124 miles) north of Cagliari, which is the capital city of Sardinia. It is also about 30 kilometers (19 miles) northwest of Olbia, another important city on the island.
