Lynn Marie Freyse (born March 24, 1937 – died March 3, 2015) was an American actress. She starred in movies and TV shows. Many people remember her as Barbara Baxter in the TV comedy series Hazel. This show was a popular sitcom.

Early Life and Acting Career

Lynn Borden was born in Detroit, Michigan. Her mother was Evelyn, and her father was Bill Freyse. Bill Freyse was a cartoonist. Lynn grew up in Tucson, Arizona.

She went to the University of Arizona. There, she studied drama and psychology. She also performed in theatre plays. Lynn earned her college degree in 1958. Before that, in 1957, she won the Miss Arizona beauty pageant. She was also a runner-up in the Miss America Pageant.

Lynn Borden started her acting career in 1962. Her first movie role was in Days of Wine and Roses. In 1965, she got a big role. She played Barbara Baxter in the last season of the TV show Hazel.

After Hazel ended in 1966, Lynn appeared in many other TV shows. These included The Fugitive, Get Smart, and Fantasy Island. She also acted in movies like Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice and Frogs. Other films she starred in were Black Mama White Mama and Walking Tall. Her last acting role was in 2006. She appeared in the TV show CSI: NY, which is about police investigations.

Personal Life

Lynn Borden married Chris Borden in 1958. They later divorced in 1963. In 1982, she married Roger Brunelle. Their marriage lasted until her death in 2015.

Later Years and Passing

Lynn Borden passed away in March 2015. She was 77 years old. She died in Encino, California, after a long illness.
