Lynn Crawford (born July 18, 1964) is a well-known Canadian chef and television personality. She is famous for appearing on the Food Network show Restaurant Makeover. This show has been watched in more than 16 countries around the world.

About Lynn Crawford
Early Life and Training
Lynn Crawford was born on July 18, 1964, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She studied cooking at George Brown College in Toronto. She also learned from another famous chef, Alice Waters.
Before opening her own restaurant, Lynn was the head chef, also known as the executive chef, at the Four Seasons hotels. She worked as the executive chef in both Toronto and New York.
Her Restaurants
From 2010 to 2021, Chef Crawford co-owned a restaurant called Ruby Watchco in Toronto. She started this restaurant with Lora Kirk. Ruby Watchco was a table d’hôte restaurant. This means it offered a set menu for a fixed price each night.

Cooking Competitions
Lynn Crawford has appeared on several popular cooking shows. She was on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. She was one of the first Canadian chefs to compete on this show. In her battle, she cooked against Iron Chef Bobby Flay. The main ingredient for their cooking challenge was peanut. Chef Crawford did not win that battle.
In 2018, Lynn Crawford became an Iron Chef herself on Iron Chef Canada. This is a Food Network Canada series. She is one of five Iron Chefs on the show. The other Iron Chefs include Hugh Acheson, Amanda Cohen, Rob Feenie, and Susur Lee.
Hosting and Judging Shows
In 2010, Chef Crawford started her own show on Food Network Canada called Pitchin' In. On this show, she traveled to different places to find the freshest and best ingredients. She learned how these ingredients were grown or caught.
She has also been a judge on other cooking shows. These include Top Chef Canada and Chopped Canada. In 2015, she co-hosted The Great Canadian Cookbook with Noah Cappe.
Other TV Appearances
In 2013, Crawford was a contestant on Top Chef Masters. She competed on the show with her spouse, Lora Kirk.
Personal Life
Lynn Crawford is married to Lora Kirk. Together, they wrote a cookbook called Hearth & Home: Cook, Share and Celebrate Family Style. This book was published in 2021.
