Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd, known simply as MAMEE, is a company from Malaysia. It makes and sells yummy snack foods, drinks, and other products. MAMEE products are sent to about 100 countries around the world. Their slogan is "A World of Good Taste."

MAMEE is very popular in places like Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Southern Thailand, and Australia. The company's main office is in the Ayer Keroh Industrial Estate in Malacca, Malaysia. This was their very first location. They also have an office in Subang, Selangor.

One of MAMEE's most famous products is the "Mamee Monster" noodle snack. It's a crunchy treat that many kids love!

How MAMEE Started

The company was founded in 1971 by Datuk Pang Chin Hin. He is still the company's Executive Chairman today.

At first, they made a type of instant noodles called Lucky. These noodles did not become very popular.

Pang Chin Hin and his son, Tee Chew, noticed something interesting. Farm workers would open the Lucky noodle packs and eat the raw noodles with the seasoning. This gave them a great idea!

Three years later, they changed the Lucky noodles into a snack. They relaunched it as Mamee Monster. It quickly became a big hit!

MAMEE's Journey as a Company

Mamee officially became a company on August 3, 1991. It was then listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on March 18, 1992. This meant people could buy shares in the company.

Mamee-Double Decker was later removed from the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange on January 9, 2012.

MAMEE and Sports

From 2011 to 2014, Mamee Double-Decker had a special deal with the famous football club Manchester United. This was a sponsorship agreement.
