Manele is a small community in Maui County, Hawaii, located on the beautiful island of Lanai. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a special area defined for gathering population data.
According to the 2020 census, only 7 people live in Manele. This makes it one of the smallest communities in Hawaii! Manele is also home to the fancy Four Seasons Resort Lanai. It's one of only two CDPs on Lanai, the other being the much bigger Lanai City.
