Manly Vale is a suburb in northern Sydney, Australia. It is about 17 kilometers northeast of the main city center. This area is part of the Northern Beaches region and is managed by the Northern Beaches Council. Manly Vale is mostly a place where people live, but it also has some shops and small businesses, especially along Condamine Street.

The Manly Vale Post Office opened its doors on April 3, 1950. It served the community for many years before closing in 1994.

Manly Vale has many great places for outdoor activities. You can find parks like Passmore Reserve and sports fields at Millers Reserve and David Thomas Reserve. Manly Dam is also on the western side of Manly Vale. There are also smaller green spaces, such as King Street Reserve. The local soccer team, Manly Vale FC, plays at David Thomas Reserve.
Protecting Nature: Landcare Activities
Caring for the land is important in Manly Vale, especially with the "Return of the Mermaids" Project. This project brings together volunteers to clean up rubbish, remove harmful weeds, and plant native trees and plants in the Mermaid Pool area on Manly Creek.
The Mermaid Pool used to be a beautiful sandy beach with a sparkling waterfall. However, it became polluted over time due to illegal dumping and new buildings. Invasive weeds also started to take over the area.
The "Return of the Mermaids" project aims to bring the Mermaid Pool back to its natural, clean state. This project won the People's Choice Award at the 2011 NSW Landcare Awards. It also won the 2011 SMCMA Community Group Environment Award.

Manly Vale has three schools for students. These are Manly Vale Public School, St Kieran's Primary School, and Mackellar Girls Campus. There is also a child care center run by the Child Care Group.
Honoring Heroes: Avenue of Honour
King Street in Manly Vale has a special "Avenue of Honour." Local community members, guided by the Save Manly Dam Catchment Committee, planted native trees and shrubs along this street. This avenue leads to the entrance of Manly Warringah War Memorial Park. It honors the brave Merchant Seamen who served in World War 1 and World War 2. A stone memorial has also been placed in King Reserve to remember them.
