North Manly is a cool suburb located in northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It's about 17 kilometers (that's about 10.5 miles) north-east of the very center of Sydney. This area is part of the beautiful Northern Beaches region, and it's looked after by the Northern Beaches Council.
A Glimpse into North Manly's Past
North Manly has a bit of history, especially when it comes to its name! Long ago, there was a Post Office that opened on August 1, 1916. It was first called Corrie Road Post Office. Then, in 1926, its name was changed to North Manly. This Post Office served the community for many years before it closed in 1978.
