History of Maple
The Town of Maple was created on December 24, 1906. It was formed when the older town of Old Brule was divided into three new towns.
Geography and Location
Maple is located in Wisconsin, a state in the United States. The town covers an area of about 32.1 square miles (83.1 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the town limits.
People of Maple
In 2000, there were 649 people living in Maple. These people lived in 277 households, and 193 of these were families. The town had about 20 people per square mile (7.8 people per square kilometer).
Most people in Maple were White (about 96.76%). There were also some Native American (2.00%) and Asian (0.46%) residents. About 0.77% of the population was Hispanic or Latino.
