The main part of Marble Hill is usually thought to be where three roads meet. These roads are Bobby Harrison Road, Marble Hill Road, and Short Creek Road. You can also find Tennessee State Route 50 very close by. This road is just to the east of the neighborhood.
A Glimpse into Marble Hill's Past
The very first house in Marble Hill was built a long time ago, in the year 1835. Imagine what life was like back then! The community grew quite a bit and was at its busiest just before the American Civil War began. However, after the Civil War, things changed a lot for Marble Hill. Most of the businesses closed down. Only one business was left in the town after the war ended.
