Marc Crosas Luque, born on January 9, 1988, is a former professional football player from Spain. He played as a defensive midfielder. Today, he works as a football analyst for TUDN. He is also a Mexican citizen.

Playing for Football Clubs
Starting at Barcelona
Marc Crosas was born in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Spain. He started playing football at a young age for the famous club FC Barcelona. He signed a five-year contract with them in 2006.
On November 8, 2006, Marc played his first game for Barcelona's main team. It was a cup match against CF Badalona. He came into the game as a substitute for Andrés Iniesta. Marc was also part of the Barcelona team that played in the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. His team finished second in that tournament. On December 12, 2007, he played his first UEFA Champions League match against VfB Stuttgart.
Marc scored the winning penalty kick in the 2007 Copa Catalunya final. Barcelona won against RCD Espanyol after the game ended in a 1–1 draw.
Moving to Lyon
On January 11, 2008, Barcelona and the French club Lyon agreed that Marc would play for Lyon on loan. This meant he would play for them for a short time. He moved because there were many players in his position at Barcelona. Marc hoped to return to Barcelona later. He trained with Juninho Pernambucano to improve his skills at Lyon.
Marc played his first game for Lyon on January 20, 2008, against Lens. Lyon lost that game 3–0. When his loan was ending, Lyon's president said it was possible Marc would stay with them.
Playing for Celtic
In August 2008, Marc joined Celtic, a club in Scotland. He signed a four-year contract. Barcelona kept an option to buy him back later. He was introduced to the fans at Celtic Park. He played his first game for Celtic on August 23, 2008, as a substitute against Falkirk.
On October 4, he was named "man of the match" for his great performance against Hamilton Academical. On January 28, 2009, Marc scored in a penalty shootout during a Scottish League Cup semi-final. Celtic won the shootout 11–10. On February 28, 2009, Marc scored his first goal for Celtic in a 7–0 win against St Mirren. It was a powerful shot from far away. This goal was later voted Celtic's "Goal of the Season." He was also voted Celtic's "Young Player of the Season" in his first year.
In the 2009–10 season, Marc became a regular player for Celtic. He formed a strong partnership with teammate Landry N'Guémo. However, in the 2010–11 season, he played less under the new manager, Neil Lennon.
Joining Volga
In February 2011, Marc moved from Celtic to FC Volga in Russia. He signed a contract until December 2014. Marc wanted to play more regularly. He played his first game for Volga in a 2–0 win against Tom Tomsk. He played 26 games and helped set up 5 goals during his time in Russia.
Time at Santos Laguna
Marc found it hard to live in Russia. So, he signed a three-year deal with Santos Laguna, a Mexican team. His former Celtic teammate Efraín Juárez helped him decide to move to Mexico. Marc was introduced to the Santos Laguna fans before a match. He played his first game for the team on February 12, 2012, as a substitute.
On March 7, 2012, he played in the CONCACAF Champions League against Seattle Sounders FC. He helped Herculez Gomez score a goal. On May 20, 2012, he played in the final match of the Torneo Clausura 2011–12. Santos Laguna won the title after a 2–1 victory. He scored his first goal for Santos Laguna on March 13, 2013, in the 2012–13 CONCACAF Champions League.
Later Career and Retirement
After leaving Santos Laguna in 2014, Marc played for U. de G. and Cruz Azul. He also played on loan for CD Tenerife and Tampico Madero. He stopped playing professional football in 2018.
Playing for His Country
Between 2004 and 2005, Marc played eight times for the Spain under-17 team. In 2007, he was chosen for the Spain under-19 team, but he could not play due to an injury.
He also played for the Catalonia team. This team represents the region of Catalonia in Spain. It is not part of FIFA or UEFA, but it plays friendly matches against other teams. He played his first game for Catalonia against the Basque Country. He also played against Colombia.
Personal Life
Marc Crosas lived in Sant Feliu de Guíxols until he moved to Lyon in 2008. His good friend is Bojan Krkić, who also played for FC Barcelona. Marc has a sponsorship deal with Nike for his football boots. He is the younger cousin of Albert Jorquera, who was also a footballer. Since 2014, Marc has been a Mexican citizen.
