Marc Crosas Luque (born on January 9, 1988) is a former professional footballer from Spain. He played as a defensive midfielder, which is a player who helps protect the defense and win the ball back. After his playing career, Marc became a football analyst for TUDN, a sports network. He is also a naturalized citizen of Mexico.

Marc Crosas's Club Journey

Marc Crosas started his football career playing for different clubs. He moved between teams, gaining experience and showing his skills on the field.

Starting at Barcelona

Marc Crosas was born in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a town in Catalonia, Spain. He grew up playing football and joined the famous La Liga club FC Barcelona when he was young. In 2006, he signed a five-year contract with the club.

On November 8, 2006, Marc played his first game for Barcelona's main team. This was in a Copa del Rey match against CF Badalona. He came into the game as a substitute for Andrés Iniesta.

Marc was also part of the Barcelona squad that played in the 2006 Club World Cup in Japan. His team finished as runners-up in that tournament. On December 12, 2007, he played in his first Champions League match against VfB Stuttgart at Camp Nou, Barcelona's home stadium.

He also helped Barcelona win the 2007 Copa Catalunya. In the final, Barcelona beat RCD Espanyol in a penalty shootout after the game ended in a 1–1 draw. Marc scored the winning penalty kick.

Moving to Lyon on Loan

On January 11, 2008, Marc Crosas moved to Ligue 1 club Lyon in France. He joined them on a loan deal until the end of the season. This move happened because Barcelona had many players in his midfield position, making it hard for him to get playing time.

Marc hoped to return to Barcelona in the future. He trained closely with Lyon's star player, Juninho Pernambucano, to improve his game.

He made his debut for Lyon in a Ligue 1 match against Lens on January 20, 2008. Lyon's president, Jean-Michel Aulas, later said that Marc had a good time at the club and that people liked him.

In the 2009–10 season, Marc became a regular starter for Celtic. He formed a strong partnership with another midfielder, Landry N'Guémo. However, in the 2010–11 season, he played less under the new manager, Neil Lennon.

Success in Mexico with Santos Laguna

On May 20, 2012, Marc played in the final match of the Torneo Clausura 2011–12. Santos Laguna won the championship after a 2–1 victory. He scored his first goal for Santos Laguna on March 13, 2013, during a CONCACAF Champions League game.
