Marcel Thiry (born March 13, 1897, died September 5, 1977) was a famous Belgian poet. He wrote his works in French. During World War I, he and his brother Oscar joined the Belgian Expeditionary Corps in Russia. This group helped fight in Russia.

In 1976, Marcel Thiry won the Prix Valery Larbaud. This was for his book of poems called Toi qui pâlis au nom de Vancouver. His poems reminded people of other famous writers like Blaise Cendrars and Guillaume Apollinaire. Marcel Thiry was also the father of Lise Thiry, who became a well-known scientist studying viruses.
