Marcela Paz Vacarezza Etcheverry was born on May 8, 1970, in Antofagasta, Chile. She is a well-known Chilean TV presenter, psychologist, and a former beauty queen. She is married to the famous TV host Rafael Araneda. They have three children together: Martina, Florencia, and Vicente.
Family Life
Marcela is the daughter of Ricardo Vacarezza Yávar, who is a hematologist (a doctor who studies blood). Her older sister is the actress Adriana Vacarezza. Marcela has built a successful career while also raising her family.
From Beauty Queen to TV Star
In 1992, Marcela won the Miss Universo Chile pageant. This meant she represented Chile in the international Miss Universe 1992 competition. In the same year, she began her career in television.
After taking some time off to be with her children, she returned to TV. She hosted a show called En Portada (which means "On Cover") until 2005. Marcela has continued to be a part of television shows over the years.
