Rafael Luis Araneda Maturana was born on September 18, 1969, in Santiago, Chile. He is a famous Chilean TV host. Many people know him for hosting the popular show Rojo Fama Contrafama.

Rafael has hosted many other TV programs. These include Estrellas en el Hielo, Sin Prejuicios, and Noche de Juegos. He also hosted El Baile en TVN, which was the Chilean version of the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. Rafael Araneda is married to TV hostess Marcela Vacarezza Etcheverry. They have three children together.

Rafael began his TV career in 1997 at La Red. He hosted a show called Revolviéndola. He is also a big supporter of the Teletón. This is a charity event in Chile that helps children with disabilities.
