Marcus Brunson (born April 24, 1978) is a retired American sprinter. He was known for his amazing speed in the 100 metres race.
Marcus was a talented athlete who played two sports in college. He played football and ran track for the NCAA. He even held the NCAA record for the 60-meter dash, finishing in just 6.46 seconds. In 2001, he was named the Pac-10 Male Track Athlete of the Year. By 2006, he was ranked as the 4th best 100-meter sprinter in the world!
He attended Marcos de Niza High School in Arizona. In 2012, Marcus Brunson was honored by being added to the Arizona State University Hall of Fame.
