Marcus Brunson (born April 24, 1978) is a retired American sprinter. Sprinters are super-fast runners who specialize in short races, like the 100 metres. Marcus was known for his incredible speed on the track.
He was a talented athlete who played two sports in college: football and track. He even set a record for the 60-meter dash in college, running it in an amazing 6.46 seconds! In 2001, he was named the top male track athlete in his college conference, the Pac-10. By 2006, he was ranked as the 4th fastest 100-meter sprinter in the whole world. Marcus went to Marcos de Niza High School in Arizona. In 2012, he was honored by being added to the Arizona State University Hall of Fame.
