Margarita Ivonne "Wonny" Geuer Draeger, born on May 3, 1966, is a famous former Spanish basketball player. She played for the Spanish national team from 1985 to 1993. Wonny helped her country win a gold medal at the 1993 European Championship.

At the club level, she won the 1993 FIBA European Champions Cup. She also earned four Liga Femenina titles.

Wonny Geuer's Club Career

Wonny Geuer started playing basketball at age 14. She played for teams like Irlandesas de Bamí and Medicina Oximper in her hometown of Seville.

Early Success with Real Canoe

At 17, Wonny began her professional career with Real Canoe NC. Here, she won three Liga Femenina titles in a row. These wins happened from 1984 to 1986.

Playing for CD Xuncas and BEX Banco Exterior

After Real Canoe, she spent two years in Lugo with CD Xuncas. During this time, her team was runner-up in the 1987 league. They also reached the finals of the Copa de la Reina in 1987 and 1988.

Next, Wonny played for four years with the BEX Banco Exterior team. This team brought together Spain's best players. They were preparing for the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona.
