Marilyn Janet Breen (born in 1944) is a smart mathematician. She teaches math as a professor at the University of Oklahoma. Her special area of study is geometry. This includes looking at things like visibility and orthogonal polygons.
Her Life and Career
Marilyn Breen went to Agnes Scott College. She graduated from there in 1966. Later, she earned her Ph.D. degree in 1970. A Ph.D. is a very high university degree. She got it from Clemson University.
In 1971, she started teaching at the University of Oklahoma. She worked very hard there. By 1982, she became a full professor. This means she reached the highest teaching rank.
Awards and Recognitions
