Mario Cimarro is an actor from Cuba, born on June 1, 1971. He started acting on TV in the late 1990s. By the early 2000s, he became well-known for playing main characters in TV dramas.
A big moment in his career was playing Juan Reyes in the Colombian TV show Pasión de Gavilanes (2003). This role made him famous around the world. Before that, he had a supporting role in La Usurpadora (1998) and was the main star in Gata Salvaje (2002). Mario Cimarro has continued to act in many shows. Pasión de Gavilanes remains one of his most famous works.

Mario Antonio Cimarro Paz was born in Havana, Cuba, on June 1, 1971. His parents are Antonio Luis Cimarro and María Caridad Paz. He also has a sister named María Antonia Cimarro Paz.

Mario Cimarro first appeared on the big screen in 1995. This was in the movie Acapulco, cuerpo y alma.
In 1996, he performed in the theater play Romeo y Julieta.
Famous TV Roles
From 2003 to 2004, Mario Cimarro played the main role in the Colombian TV series Pasión de Gavilanes. He acted alongside Natasha Klauss, Michel Brown, Juan Alfonso Baptista, Danna García, and Paola Rey.
From 2005 to 2006, he was the main star in the TV series El Cuerpo del Deseo. In this show, he worked with Lorena Rojas.
He also had a repeating role in the USA Network's show Necessary Roughness from 2011 to 2013. In 2020, he appeared in Jesus Cristo de Nazaret.
In August 2019, he traveled to Paraguay. There, he was a judge for the eighth season of the TV show Baila conmigo Paraguay.
In 2021, it was confirmed that Mario Cimarro would play Juan Reyes Guerrero again. This was for the second season of Pasión de Gavilanes.
In 2023, Cimarro took part in the Slovak version of Dancing with the Stars. The show is called Let's Dance. His dance partner was Vanda Poláková.
