Marisol Nichols, born on November 2, 1973, is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Principal Ramirez in the animated show The Loud House on Nickelodeon. She also played Nadia Yassir in the Fox series 24. Many people know her as Hermione Lodge from the CW drama series Riverdale.

Early Life and Family

Marisol Nichols was born in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in Naperville, Illinois, with her mother and stepfather. Her mother has Mexican heritage. Her biological father has Russian-Jewish and Hungarian-Jewish roots. Marisol is the oldest of three children. She has two younger brothers.

Marisol Nichols started her acting career in 1996. She appeared in TV shows like Due South and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Early Movies and TV Shows

In 1997, Marisol made her first movie appearance. She played Audrey Griswold in Vegas Vacation alongside Chevy Chase. She also had roles in other films that year, including Scream 2 and Friends 'Til the End. Later, she appeared in Can't Hardly Wait and Jane Austen's Mafia.

From 2000 to 2002, she starred in the drama series Resurrection Blvd. on Showtime. In 2001, she played a real-life princess, Meriam Al Khalifa, in the TV movie The Princess and the Marine.

In 2007, Marisol Nichols joined the cast of the hit show 24. She played Special Agent Nadia Yassir for 24 episodes. In 2008, she starred in the film Felon.

She also played Sarah Monahan in the supernatural crime drama The Gates in 2010. That same year, she was a guest star on NCIS: Los Angeles. She played Tracy Keller, a former partner of Agent G. Callen. Marisol also played "The Desert Wolf" on MTV's show Teen Wolf.

In 2012, Nichols starred in the ABC TV series GCB.

From 2017 to 2023, Marisol Nichols played Hermione Lodge in Riverdale. This teen drama is based on the Archie comic books. She was a main character for the first five seasons. She later returned as a special guest star.

Marisol Nichols also uses her voice for animated shows. She voices Principal Ramirez in the Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. Marisol Nichols has been married twice. In 1999, she married Andrea Sorrentino, but they later divorced. In 2008, she married director Taron Lexton. They have one daughter, who was born in September 2008. Marisol filed for divorce in 2018. She lives in Los Angeles, California.

In the 1990s, Marisol Nichols became a member of the Church of Scientology.
