Marjean Holden was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grew up in Vail, Colorado. When she was in high school at Battle Mountain High School, she was a great volleyball player. She even got a scholarship to play volleyball at Northern Arizona University before also attending Arizona State University.

Marjean Holden started her acting career in 1989 in the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Since then, she has appeared in many popular TV shows and films.
