Marjean Holden (born Margaret Jean Holden on November 3, 1964) is an American actress, director, and author. She is also a skilled martial artist and has performed her own stunts in many movies and TV shows.

Early Life
Marjean Holden was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but she grew up in the mountain town of Vail, Colorado. In high school, she was a talented volleyball player.
She later went to Northern Arizona University on a volleyball scholarship. She also attended Arizona State University.
A Career in Movies and TV
Marjean began her acting career in 1989 with a small part in the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. From there, she appeared in many popular TV shows. You might have seen her in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and JAG.
Action and Sci-Fi Roles
Marjean is well-known for her roles in action and science fiction movies. She was in Steven Spielberg's blockbuster The Lost World: Jurassic Park. She also played the four-armed warrior Sheeva in the movie Mortal Kombat Annihilation.
She had a key role in the Babylon 5 universe. She played a navigator in the movie Babylon 5: A Call to Arms. She then starred as Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sarah Chambers in the TV series Crusade. For three years, she also played Arina in the adventure show BeastMaster.
Directing Career
In 2023, it was announced that Marjean was directing her first movie. The film is about a group of police officers who pretend to be an 80s rock band to catch a criminal.
Personal Life and Charity Work
Besides acting, Marjean has a big heart for helping others. She has worked with military veterans who were injured in combat. In 1996, she received a special award from the Military Order of the Purple Heart for her support of veterans.
She married writer Anton Knezevich in 1998, and they have one daughter together.
