Mark Boone Junior (born Mark Heidrich; March 17, 1955) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing many different characters in movies and TV shows. You might know him as Bobby Munson from the TV series Sons of Anarchy. He also played Patrick "Pat" Brown in Last Man On Earth. In movies, he appeared in Christopher Nolan's Memento and Batman Begins. He was also in action films like Die Hard 2 and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Early Life and Acting Start
Mark Boone Junior was born Mark Heidrich in Cincinnati, Ohio. His mom, Ginny, was a teacher, and his dad, Bob, worked in construction. Mark grew up near Chicago. He went to the University of Vermont and played soccer there.
After college, he moved to New York City. That's where he began his acting journey. He started doing stand-up comedy with his good friend, actor Steve Buscemi. Mark chose his stage name, Boone, from a war memorial in New York City. It became his nickname too!

Mark Boone Junior often plays characters who are police officers or other people in charge. Sometimes these characters are a bit tricky or not completely honest. For example, he played an FBI agent in the movie Seven. He was also Detective Flass, a detective who wasn't very honest, in Batman Begins.
He has acted in more than 70 movies! Some of his other film roles include Get Carter and The General's Daughter. He also appeared in The Thin Red Line and Die Hard 2.
On TV, Mark has made guest appearances on popular shows. These include Law & Order, Seinfeld, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also had a small part in the movie Armageddon. He was in an episode of the prison drama series Oz on HBO.
Working with Christopher Nolan
Mark Boone Junior has worked with famous director Christopher Nolan twice. In the movie Memento, he played Burt. Burt was the front desk manager at the Discount Inn. Later, in Batman Begins, he played Detective Flass. This character was the crooked partner of James Gordon.
Famous TV Roles
Mark was a regular actor on the TV drama series Sons of Anarchy. He played Bobby "Elvis" Munson, a key character in the show. Years before, in an episode of Quantum Leap, he played a biker named Maddog. This role was quite similar to his character in Sons of Anarchy.
In 2011, he played the father of Vincent Dooly in the movie The Mother of Invention. More recently, he played Dr. Eduard Gillespie in the 2023 film Atrabilious. He also appeared in The Mandalorian as Ranzar Malk.
