Marquice O'Brien Williams, born on November 8, 1985, is an American football coach. He currently works as the special teams coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. This team is part of the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the Falcons, he was an assistant coach for other NFL teams like the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, and Chicago Bears.

Early Life and College Football
Marquice Williams grew up in Fresno, California. He played football as a defensive back in college. He attended Fresno City College and later the University of Mary.
In 2005, Williams earned his associate's degree from Fresno City College. He then received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mary in 2008.
Coaching Journey
Marquice Williams has coached for several college and professional football teams. He has held different roles, often focusing on defense and special teams.
Starting in College Football
In 2010, Williams began his coaching career at Winona State University. He coached the outside linebackers and helped with special teams.
The next year, in 2011, Williams moved to the University of Central Oklahoma. There, he coached the linebackers.
From 2012 to 2015, Williams worked at the University of South Dakota. He coached the defensive line. In 2015, he also took on the role of special teams coordinator.
First Steps in the NFL
While still coaching at the University of South Dakota, Williams got a chance to work with NFL teams.

In 2016, the San Diego Chargers hired Williams as an assistant special teams coach. The team later moved and became the Los Angeles Chargers. Williams stayed with them in 2017. In 2018, he worked as a defensive assistant for the Chargers.
Return to the Detroit Lions
In 2019, Williams went back to the Detroit Lions. He served as their assistant special teams coach. He stayed with the Lions until 2020.
Atlanta Falcons
On January 21, 2021, the Atlanta Falcons hired Marquice Williams. He became their special teams coordinator. He continues to hold this important role with the Falcons.
