Antônio Marcos da Silva Filho, known as Marquinhos Paraná, is a former Brazilian football player. He was born on July 20, 1977. Marquinhos Paraná played as a right-back or a defensive midfielder. He played for many clubs in Brazil and also in Japan. His last team was Ventforet Kofu in Japan's top league.

Marquinhos Paraná's Football Journey
Marquinhos Paraná started his football career in Brazil. He played for several teams before moving to Japan. In 2007, he joined Júbilo Iwata, a club in the J. League 1. He played 28 league games for them and scored 2 goals.
Returning to Brazil
After his contract with Júbilo Iwata ended in January 2008, Marquinhos Paraná went back to Brazil. He joined Cruzeiro, a well-known Brazilian club. Two of his teammates, Fabrício and Henrique, also joined Cruzeiro around the same time.
Marquinhos Paraná became an important player for Cruzeiro. In January 2010, he signed a new two-year contract with the club. He played many games for Cruzeiro from 2008 to 2011.
Later Career
After playing for Cruzeiro, Marquinhos Paraná continued his career in Brazil. In 2012, he played for Sport and then for América Mineiro. Later, he returned to Japan to play for Ventforet Kofu from 2013 to 2016.
