Marriott-Slaterville is a city located in Weber County, Utah, in the United States. It is part of the larger Ogden–Clearfield metropolitan area. The city was officially formed in July 1999. This happened when two areas, Marriott and Slaterville, which were not yet official cities, decided to join together.

A Look at Marriott-Slaterville's History
The area that is now Marriott-Slaterville was first settled by pioneer families in 1852. These families included the Richard Slater family, as well as the Perry, Smout, Marriott, and Field families. Many people living in Marriott-Slaterville today are descendants of these original settlers. This includes relatives of J. Willard Marriott, who was a famous hotel owner in the 20th century and started Marriott International.
