Martell (which used to be called Oneida) is a small community in Amador County, California, in the United States. It's about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of a town called Jackson. Martell sits at an elevation of 1,486 feet (453 meters) above sea level. In 2010, about 282 people lived there.
Martell is located west of Jackson and east of Ione. These towns are connected by the Amador Central Railroad. Martell is an important spot for shopping and eating out in Amador County. Many big stores and restaurants for the area are found here. The community uses ZIP code 95654 and area code 209.
