Fukasawa's Playing Style

Masahiro Fukasawa might have been small in size, but he was very fast with and without the ball. When he first started in the J.League, he was a skilled "shadow striker." This means he played just behind the main attackers, looking for chances to score.

Later, when he played for Montreal, he changed his role to an attacking midfielder. He was good at dribbling past defenders in one-on-one situations. In Singapore and Cambodia, he used his great ball skills in the middle of the field as a "holding midfield." This role involves protecting the defense and starting attacks.
