MasterChef Chile is a popular Chilean TV show where people compete in cooking. It's based on the original MasterChef show from Britain. The show is hosted by Diana Bolocco. Famous chefs Yann Yvin, Christopher Carpentier, and Ennio Carota were the main judges.
MasterChef Chile is made and shown on Canal 13. The very first episode aired on October 26, 2014. The first season ended on February 2, 2015, and the winner was Daniela Castro, who was 26 years old.
The second season started on October 18, 2015. It ended on January 28, 2016. Alfonso Castro, a 63-year-old waiter, won this season. He became the oldest winner in MasterChef history! There's also a special version called Junior MasterChef. This show features only younger contestants. It first aired on March 20, 2016. The third season of MasterChef Chile began on March 5, 2017. Chef Sergi Arola from Spain joined as a new judge for this season.
