Mathis Gazoa Kippersund Bolly (born 14 November 1990) is a professional footballer. He plays as a forward for Lillestrøm SK. Bolly started his professional career with Lillestrøm in Norway's top football league. He played for Norway in youth international games. However, he later chose to represent the Ivory Coast national team.

Mathis Bolly's Club Journey
Mathis Bolly was born in Oslo, Norway. His mother is Norwegian, and his father is Ivorian. He grew up in Holmlia, Oslo. As a young player, he played for youth teams like Lyn and Holmlia.
Starting with Lillestrøm
In 2008, Bolly joined Lillestrøm. He made his first team debut that same year. In his second season, 2009, he played 10 matches. Bolly scored his first goal for Lillestrøm on 3 October 2010. This goal helped his team win 1–0 against Sandefjord. In the 2012 season, Bolly scored four goals and helped with four assists. His contract was set to end in 2013, and he decided not to renew it.
Moving to Germany: Fortuna Düsseldorf
Lillestrøm then accepted an offer from Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany. On 2 January 2013, Bolly signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the German club. He made his Bundesliga debut as a substitute against Mainz 05. In his next game, he started against Bayern Munich and scored a goal. Fortuna Düsseldorf lost that game 3–2. The following week, Bolly scored again in a 1–1 draw against VfL Wolfsburg. Fortuna Düsseldorf was moved down to a lower league after the 2012–13 season. But Bolly stayed with the team to play in the 2. Bundesliga.
Joining Molde FK
On 19 February 2019, Bolly joined Molde in Norway. He signed a one-year contract with them. His first game for Molde was on 18 July 2019. He came on as a substitute in a 0–0 draw in a European club competition. On 1 October 2019, Molde announced that Bolly had extended his contract. He would stay with the club until the end of the 2022 season.
Playing for His Country
Bolly played three matches for the Norwegian under-19 team in 2009. He was also called up for the under-21 team in early 2013. He was even in Norway's first squad for a big European youth tournament.
Choosing Ivory Coast
However, in May 2013, Bolly was called up to play for the Ivory Coast national team. He decided to play for Ivory Coast instead of Norway. His former coach said it was a big loss for Norway. Bolly played his first game for Ivory Coast on 8 June 2013 against Gambia. He played his second match in August 2013 against Mexico. In that game, he played alongside famous footballer Didier Drogba.
World Cup Experience
Bolly was a substitute when Ivory Coast qualified for the 2014 World Cup. He was chosen to represent Ivory Coast at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil. He made his World Cup debut as a substitute in Ivory Coast's second group game against Colombia.
Mathis Bolly's Speed
When Bolly joined Lillestrøm in 2008, he was very fast. He could run 40 meters in 4.77 seconds. After the 2009 season, he improved his speed to 4.61 seconds for 40 meters. This made him one of the fastest players in the Norwegian league.
Fastest in FIFA Games
When EA Sports released the video game FIFA 14, Bolly was known as the fastest player in the game. He held this title for sprint speed in FIFA 17 as well. However, in the FIFA 18 game, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the fastest player.
