Mathis Gazoa Kippersund Bolly (born 14 November 1990) is a professional footballer. He plays as a forward, which means he mainly attacks and tries to score goals. Mathis Bolly started his professional career with Lillestrøm in Norway's top football league. He played for Norway's youth teams but later chose to represent the Ivory Coast at the senior international level. He is also known for being one of the fastest players in football.

Club Career Highlights
Mathis Bolly was born in Oslo, Norway. His mother is Norwegian, and his father is Ivorian. He grew up playing youth football for several clubs before joining Lillestrøm in 2008.
Starting at Lillestrøm
Bolly made his first team debut for Lillestrøm in 2008. In the 2009 season, he played 10 matches. He scored his first goal for the club on 3 October 2010, helping Lillestrøm win 1–0 against Sandefjord. By the 2012 season, Bolly was scoring more goals and helping his team with assists.
Moving to Germany
In January 2013, Bolly moved to Germany to play for Fortuna Düsseldorf. He signed a contract for three and a half years. He made his debut in the Bundesliga, which is Germany's top league. In his second match, he scored a goal against Bayern Munich. The next week, he scored again in a game against VfL Wolfsburg. Even though Fortuna Düsseldorf was relegated to a lower league, Bolly stayed with the team.
Playing for Molde
On 19 February 2019, Bolly joined Molde in Norway. He made his debut for Molde in a Europa League qualifying match in July 2019. Later that year, Molde extended his contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2022 season.
International Football Journey
Mathis Bolly played three matches for the Norwegian under-19 team in 2009. He was also considered for Norway's under-21 team.
Choosing Ivory Coast
In May 2013, Bolly was called up to play for the Ivory Coast national team. He decided to play for Ivory Coast instead of Norway. His former coach said this was a big loss for Norway. Bolly played his first game for Ivory Coast on 8 June 2013 against Gambia. He also played alongside famous footballer Didier Drogba in a friendly match against Mexico.
World Cup Experience
Ivory Coast qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Bolly was chosen to be part of the team. He made his World Cup debut as a substitute in Ivory Coast's second group game against Colombia.
Style of Play: Speed Demon
Mathis Bolly is famous for his incredible speed. When he joined Lillestrøm in 2008, he could run 40 meters in just 4.77 seconds. A year later, he improved his time to 4.61 seconds. This made him one of the fastest players ever in the Norwegian league.
Fastest in FIFA
His speed was even recognized in the popular video game FIFA 14 by EA Sports. In that game, Bolly was listed as the fastest player in terms of sprint speed. He held this title in FIFA 17 as well. In FIFA 18, another player, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, became known as the fastest.
