Matt's Million facts for kids

Matt's Million was a children's TV show. It aired in 1996 on CiTV. The show was created by author Andrew Norriss. He also made other popular children's shows like Bernard's Watch and Woof!. The main characters were Matt, played by Peter England, and Claire, played by Claire Parfitt. Only four episodes of the show were made. Famous actors like Windsor Davies also appeared. Alan Halsall was in the show too. He later became well-known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street.

The show was about a boy named Matt Collins. He became a millionaire when he was just 11 years old! Matt created a very successful computer game. This game sold a lot of copies, especially in places far away like the Far East.

One day, Matt received a big cheque. It was for over £1.25 million! This money came from his family's lawyers. Matt was very surprised at first.

After the shock, Matt started to buy some special things. He bought two new bikes. He also rented a fancy Rolls Royce car. This car even came with its own driver, named Henry!
