Maumtrasna, sometimes spelled Maamtrasna, is a tall mountain in the Partry Mountains. You can find it in the southern part of County Mayo, Ireland. It is actually the highest point in that mountain range! A river called the Srahnalong flows from near the top of Maumtrasna. It travels southwest until it reaches the beautiful Lough Mask. There is also a small area called a townland named Maumtrasna, which is located on the south side of the Srahnalong River.
