Because her guest appearance was a success, she was offered a job as a host and producer for a show called Football Cafe on Zee Sports. Mayanti then worked on many football shows for the Zee network. She gave commentary and interviewed players and coaches before, during, and after matches. She also anchored Zee Sports' coverage of the Nehru Cup football tournament and the Indian Cricket League.
