A Look Back at Mayview
How Mayview Started
Mayview was founded a long time ago, in the year 1880. Even before that, in 1879, a special building called a post office was opened in Mayview. This post office was very important because it helped people send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years, finally closing its doors in 1959.
