Mayyanad is a village found in the Kollam district of Kerala, India. It is a beautiful place with a mix of lake and sea views.
Mayyanad is located near Kollam city. It is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) south of the city center. The village is also about 6 kilometers (4 miles) north of Paravur Town. You can easily reach Mayyanad by bus from Kollam city and Kottiyam town. Local trains from Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram also stop here. A bridge connecting Mayyanad and Paravur was finished in 2012. This made it much easier to travel to Kollam city.
