McDowell Run is a small stream, also known as a "run," located in Pennsylvania, a state in the United States. It flows through parts of Allegheny and Butler counties. McDowell Run is a tributary, which means it's a smaller stream that flows into a larger one. In this case, it flows into Bull Creek.
Where McDowell Run Flows
McDowell Run begins its journey in the northern part of Allegheny County. It then flows generally south. The stream eventually meets and joins Bull Creek. This meeting point is near where Bull Creek Road and Howes Run Road cross in Fawn Township. The water from McDowell Run then becomes part of Bull Creek, which later flows into the larger Allegheny River.
