McGrew is a small village located in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, in the United States. It is part of the larger Scottsbluff, Nebraska area. In 2020, the village had a population of 75 people.

History of McGrew
McGrew became an official village in 1911. This happened when the Union Pacific Railroad built its tracks through the area.
In 1912, a Presbyterian church opened in McGrew. It held services until 1971. The 1920s were a busy time for McGrew. The village had many businesses, including stores, a post office, and a train station with a grain elevator. There was also a hotel and places for farming businesses.
Later, the church building was bought by the Platte Valley Bible College. It was renamed the McGrew Community Church. In 1986, it was renamed again to the Oregon Trail Chapel. A school was also built in 1920. However, the post office closed in 1986. Today, most of the old buildings in McGrew are no longer used.
