McNeil is a small town in Columbia County, Arkansas, United States. In 2020, about 381 people lived there. The town was named after William B. McNeil. He was the person who started the College Hill Academy.

McNeil is in the northern part of Columbia County. It is about 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Magnolia. Magnolia is the main city and county seat.
The town covers an area of about 1.27 square miles (3.28 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
Logoly State Park
Logoly State Park is a special place near McNeil. It is part of the Arkansas State Parks System. You can find it just east of McNeil, off Highway 79.
Most of Logoly's 368 acres (149 hectares) are a State Natural Area. This area has unique plants and natural mineral springs. It is a great place to explore nature.

This was good news for McNeil residents. Magnolia is closer to McNeil than Stephens. This means children can go to school closer to home.
