Melodie Monrose began her exciting journey in the modeling world in 2010. She was 18 years old at the time. A local modeling agency in Martinique, called Your Angels Models, discovered her talent. This was the very first step in her amazing career.
Just a few weeks after joining Your Angels Models, Melodie started working with two major modeling agencies. These were Wilhelmina in New York and Silent Models in Paris. Modeling agencies help models find jobs and manage their careers.
Walking the Runway
Melodie made her first big appearance during the Spring/Summer 2011 fashion shows in New York. These shows are where designers present their new clothing collections. Since then, Melodie has walked the runway for many top designers. Some of these famous names include Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, Miu Miu, and Yves Saint Laurent. Walking the runway means she showed off their clothes on a special stage.
After her very first season of fashion shows, Melodie was recognized as one of the top 10 new faces in modeling. This honor came from important fashion websites like Style.com and Models.com. In July 2011, she moved to Silent Models, which now represents her in both New York and Paris.
