About the Game
Metroid Prime Pinball was first released in North America on October 24, 2005. It later came out in Australia, Japan, and Europe. The game was made by Retro Studios, who also created the main Metroid Prime adventure games. Nintendo published it, bringing it to players around the world.
How to Play
The main goal of the game is to score points by hitting targets and enemies on the pinball tables. There are different missions and challenges on each table. Completing these missions helps you unlock new areas and boss battles.
You use the Nintendo DS's touch screen or buttons to control the flippers. The game also uses both screens of the DS. The top screen shows the main pinball table, while the bottom screen often shows your score and other important information.
Game Modes
Metroid Prime Pinball offers different ways to play. You can play by yourself in the single-player mode, trying to get the highest score. There is also a multiplayer mode where you can play against friends. This lets you compete to see who is the best pinball wizard.
Pinball Tables and Worlds
The game features several unique pinball tables. Each table is based on a different area from the Metroid Prime universe. For example, the Tallon Overworld table is one of the first you can play. It has familiar enemies and features from that area.
Boss Battles
Just like in the regular Metroid Prime games, Metroid Prime Pinball has boss battles. These are special pinball challenges where you have to hit a boss character to defeat it. Winning these battles helps you move forward in the game.
Development and Music
The game was developed by Retro Studios, using a special version of the Metroid Prime game engine. This helped them make the pinball game feel like it was part of the Metroid Prime world.
The music for Metroid Prime Pinball was composed by Kenji Yamamoto. He is known for creating the music for many Metroid games. The music helps make the game feel exciting and adventurous. Kensuke Tanabe was the producer for the game. He also worked on the main Metroid Prime series.
