Metropolismania is an exciting video game where you get to build your very own city! It's a mix of a city-building game and a strategy game. This means you plan and create a town, and you also need to think carefully about your choices. The game was made by Media Factory and published by Natsume.
It first came out in Japan on September 27, 2001. Later, it was released in North America on October 3, 2002, and in Europe on November 8, 2002. The main goal in Metropolismania is to chat with people in the game, called NPCs (Non-Player Characters), to convince them to move into your growing town.
There are also sequels to the game! Metropolismania 2 was released in North America on August 21, 2007, and in Japan on July 13, 2006. A third game, Metropolismania 3, was made for the PlayStation Portable but only came out in Japan.
Building Your Dream City
In Metropolismania, you start with a small area and the big job of making it a lively place. You need to attract people to live there and help your town grow into a busy city. It's all about making connections and planning where everything goes.
Your Mission in the Game
Your main task is to talk to different NPCs you meet. These are characters controlled by the game, not by other players. When you talk to them, you can learn about their interests and what they need. If you make them happy, they might decide to move into your town!
As more people move in, your town will get bigger. You'll need to make sure there are enough homes, shops, and other buildings for everyone. Thinking ahead and making good choices is key to building a successful and happy city.
