Michael Robert DeLuise, born on August 4, 1969, is an American actor, director, and producer. He is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows. These include playing Tony Piccolo in seaQuest DSV, Officer Joey Penhall in 21 Jump Street, and TJ in Gilmore Girls.

About Michael DeLuise
Early Life and Family
Michael DeLuise was born in Los Angeles, California. He is the second son of famous actor and comedian Dom DeLuise and actress Carol Arthur. Michael also has two brothers, Peter DeLuise and David DeLuise, who are also actors. Peter is also a writer and director.
Starting His Acting Career
Michael DeLuise began his acting journey in 1979. His very first movie role was alongside his father in the comedy film Hot Stuff.
Notable TV Roles
In 1990, Michael got his first big role on the Fox TV series 21 Jump Street. He played Officer Joey Penhall. Interestingly, his real-life brother, Peter DeLuise, played Officer Doug Penhall in the same show.
Later, Michael and Peter also worked together on SeaQuest DSV. Michael played the character Tony Piccolo from 1994 to 1996. He also had a recurring role as TJ on the popular TV series Gilmore Girls. Another important TV role was playing Andy Sipowicz's older son on the series NYPD Blue.
Michael has also made guest appearances on several other well-known TV shows. These include CSI: NY, Lost, and Stargate SG-1.
